Dragon Fruit Margarita Nutrition:
There are many types of Dragonfruit a.k.a Pitaya. White, Yellow or Red, all of these versions carry the same nutrient profile. This fruit is considered “nutrient dense”. Meaning, it has a very low calorie amount (60 calories per serving) but is highly rich in nutrients. The two highest being fiber at 3g/ serving and magnesium coming in at 10% the RDI/ serving. The red dragon fruit in particular is also packed with many natural antioxidants like betalains (also found in Beets). Betalains assist with promoting cardiovascular health and reducing oxidation in the body. Eating too many of these (as the same with beets) can actually cause your urine to change color! So don’t be alarmed after this drink, don’t worry it wasn’t that strong!
