Are you ready for the Super Bowl!? If you are having tons of friends over or just watching with your dog, you still need to make some delish football food. The big game is all about the food afterall! With so many options, most involving buffalo sauce (which I don’t hate), you have to have a staple that is easy to make and everyone will love. I found this recipe from Pioneer Woman so I knew it would be good. I love how she uses oats instead of bread crumbs so it is gluten free! Okay lets get into this recipe.
First- beef, oats, milk, onions, salt and pepper!

- 1.5 pounds ground beef
- 3/4 cups oats
- 1 cup milk
- 3 Tablespoons finely minced onion
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- fresh cracked pepper
- 1 1/2 cups BBQ sauce
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix all ingredients except for the BBQ sauce together in a bowl. Divide meat into 24 meatballs. Place meatballs in a 13 x 9 dish and place in the freezer for 10 minutes to firm them up. Then over medium high heat in a medium skillet, heat some oil. Cook meatballs in the pan until just browned. Place them back into the pyrex and cover with BBQ sauce. Bake for 45 minutes until sauce is bubbly. Serve hot!
