How have I never made a Chia Pudding?!  I thought it was about time I did and for this baby – I ground up the chia with lots of goodness like Maca powder, cacao powder and espresso powder for a maca mocha chia pudding that will knock your socks off!  The best part about this pudding?  It is packed with nutrients so you could totally have it for any meal from breakfast to dessert!!  I have really been trying to add Maca Powder into lots of things since I bought a massive bag on thrive market.  Maca has so many great benefits but a big one if hormone balance! In the last year I have learned how easily hormones can be throw off track so keeping them in line is a huge thing for me and I am sure many other women! So while i’ve added it to smoothies and coffee – and I knew it went well with those flavors – maca mocha was born!  And it doesn’t hurt that it rolls off the tongue nicely. My hubs worked 3 nights straight this last weekend so he took some of this with him to get him through! Those healthy fats do wonders at keeping you full.  So now that you are armed with this recipe – get those ingredients and make a batch! HAPPY MONDAY!!

Maca Mocha Chia Pudding


Ingredients

Scale
  • ⅓ cup chia seeds
  • 1 ⅔ cup vanilla almond milk
  • 3 tablespoons cacao powder
  • 2 tablespoons maca powder
  • 2 teaspoons espresso powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • 23 tablespoons honey

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend on high until creamy. Add more honey if you like it sweeter. Pour into a jar and place in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight. Enjoy for breakfast or dessert!
